Question- Jus'throwing it out there.

Do you think that ultimately poking fun and using a satirical approach to politics actually affects the inner workings of the establishment/ government? Considering it's all about power and money, how do you feel that the yesmen actually penetrate this seemingly impermeable structure of politics?

  1. they are successful in mocking the corporate world but they aren’t helping the cause of opening a dialogue with such corporate minded people, to mock them is basically pushing the corporate minded people to close off even more from open dialog from the public interests, though they weren’t very open or sympathetic to the views to begin with.

They are successful in showing the public what jokes corporations are and the power of the consumer and the public is always stronger than any government or corporation, it’s not a matter of convincing the corporations or government, it’s a matter of convincing the people
